Design & Development
Since 1946, we at Rohleder have been combining traditional weaving craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. As a leading European manufacturer of high-quality upholstery fabrics, we have established a unique position: we are the only weaving mill in the world to offer plain weaves, velvets, epinglés and digital printing in such a wide variety and to such a high standard, all from a single source.

Our fabrics are manufactured in Northern Bavaria, one of Europe’s most traditional textile centres. We therefore benefit enormously from a strong regional network: our partners, including suppliers, dyers and finishers, are located nearby. This guarantees us maximum agility, seamless premium quality and short lead times for our highly specialised products.
At the same time, our location ensures we have access to highly specialised expertise. We employ countless staff members who have been part of our team for decades. This wealth of experience is our most important asset and would be hard to find in such concentration abroad.
Furthermore, ‘Made in Germany’ is a strong selling point for your end customers. It stands for exclusively manufactured goods, fair working conditions and environmental standards that are adhered to. This gives you the assurance that you are offering your customers an ethically sound product.
