The visual world of Olaf Hajek
Olaf Hajek is one of the most significant illustrators of our time. His distinctive visual style has gained worldwide recognition – on magazine covers, in campaigns for major brands and in international galleries. His style combines elements of folk art, surrealism and botanical illustration – rich in colour, full of detail and with a fairy-tale quality.
When art meets textiles
Olaf Hajek has designed an exclusive textile collection for ROHLEDER, transforming his signature illustrations into woven works of art. Floral motifs that seem to come from a dream world. Colours that interact in vibrant compositions. And ever-changing details that reveal themselves with every glance.

Masterfully executed
Bringing these complex designs to life in textile form placed the highest demands on our weaving mill – yet it was also the perfect project for our company. With a thread count of 160 threads per centimetre and our expertise in colour design, we were able to faithfully reproduce Olaf Hajek’s works in textile form.
Woven art for special spaces
The result is a collection for people with an appreciation for art and design. For living spaces that exude character. Each cushion is a unique work of art – woven in Germany using fabrics from our own production, enhanced by the work of one of today’s most renowned illustrators.
